How We Are Fighting For Change.

What Do We Believe?

With all that is going on in the world and in America, we would be doing a disservice to stay silent. Explore our mission statement, values, and goals here at EduAndYou.

We Are All Human. Yes, All of Us.

EduAndYou stands with the underserved, underrepresented, and discriminated against. We acknowledge the impact the deportation and attacks on innocent human beings has on children, families, and individuals. Although we center our content on children, we do not believe that any human is evil or deserving of violence, hate, or suffering.

We are all human. We all bleed the same. Here at EduAndYou, we may not understand what it means to be in every minority, but we do understand what it is like to be discriminated against, and we can empathize with those in similar situations.

We do not strive to speak for all people. For example, we may talk about books featuring people of color even though we are white. We will not speak to individual experiences of demographics we are not a part of, but rather to objective facts about the books and ideas for classroom involvement. If you have an issue with how we approach our content, please do not hesitate to reach out through the chat feature to correct our mistakes. We are very open to feedback and will try our best to respond to you as quickly as possible.

Our goal with featuring books that we do not relate to in terms of demographics is to get the world out there that the books exist. When it comes to minorities that we are a part of, we may speak to our own experience without generalizing it to every person in our group. If we do something you believe is not following these statements, reach out to us. We would rather be wrong and aware (and correct our mistakes) then wrong and ignorant.

Human Rights Are Now (Unfortunately) Political

EduAndYou believes that every human is deserving of kindness, compassion, and equity. Starting in January of 2026, we will be discussing the impact of political and worldwide issues on children and families.

Our first project is on the impact of special education funding cuts on Central Oregon schools and childcare facilities. This is a continuous project and we will be reaching out to our local legislators monthly to urge them to continue funding our schools and facilities.

If you want to get involved, stay tuned. We are working on options for your involvement.
